HOFREITE Meersburg, our family business, is situated in the heart of the fruit and wine region of Lake Constance. Centrally located in the old town of Meersburg, we offer two comfortably furnished vacation apartments in a historic building with a modern ambience.
Both apartments have been granted three stars by the German Tourism Association.

We have designed the spacious apartments of 77 m² each with an attractive mix of old and new to preserve the charm of the old house. Colorful accents radiate a cozy atmosphere and cheerfulness, where you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Both apartments are comfortably furnished and family friendly, suitable for four people.

On the first floor there is a store.

Our Rooms

Living room – complete with comfortable armchairs and a couch, a perfect view to the Old Town as well as a built in kitchen with a dining area

big bedroom – king size, 200×200 cm double bed, enough wardrobe and storage space for your luggage and a cosy reading corner for you to relax

small bedroom – view to the garden, 180×200 cm double bed, wardrobe and small table

bathroom – small but nicely furnished with a shower, toilet and a built in basin

doorway – spacious for a coat-rack and shoes
storage room – with vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, laundry rack and much more

terrace – with playground area and a small garden and also a great view to the castle garden.

Health and Environment

For the sake of health and environmental questions, we placed great emphasis on natural materials during the renovation in 2000.

We used materials such as linoleum and mineral colours. Wherever it was possible, we kept the old roof tiles, beams and doors.

When furnishing the apartments we used old furniture. The old pieces of wooden furniture have been polished and the chairs got newly upholstered.

We use especially energy saving heating technique and electricity from an ecologically conscious provider.

For children and families

Our apartments are attractive for families with babies or even older children, The extra bedroom provides enough room so that children and their parents can have their space too.

We can provide you a child’s bed as well as a baby’s chair.

There is a playground close to the castle garden. The central location is also perfect for walks to the lake, to the miniature golf area or to the ice cream parlour.

Both the beach and the public park are within a few minutes walk, so that you can leave your car parked. You can easily end your day excursion with a short visit to the beach.

Terrace and Garden

In the back of the building there is a small garden and a terrace with access to the two holiday rental apartments

Both apartments have their own seating area which we design every summer with a lot of flowers.

From the terrace you can have a great view to the Old Castle. On warm summer days you can start your day here with breakfast outside. You can also enjoy the evening here with a glass of wine, making plans for the following day.
